These are the areas where the yellow warning is activated for rain and storms this Tuesday

Up to eight territories have activated this Tuesday, September 14 the yellow warning for heavy rains and storms in which they are expected to fall between 15 and 20 liters per square meter in an hour, according to the Meteorological Agency (Aemet) on its website.

Andalusia, Aragon, Asturias, Castile and Leon, Castilla La Mancha, Extremadura, Galicia and the Community of Madrid are the territories that have activated this yellow risk for this Tuesday, September 14.

The Aemet has warned of precipitation and storms in eight regions of Spain. In Andalusia, specifically in Cordoba, Huelva and Seville, up to 20 liters per square meter are foreseen, something that could be maintained throughout the day in points of the countryside and mountains north of Seville, coast of Huelva and in the regions of Andévalo and Condado.

Huesca and Zaragoza are on alert in Aragon for rains of up to 40 liters in 12 hours, while in Asturias the alert for heavy rains will cover the coast, the mining valleys and the Picos de Europa.

In the Community of Madrid, rainfall of up to 15 liters is estimated in the south and west, as well as in the mountains or the metropolitan area.

The Aemet does not establish meteorological risk for the general population, although it does for some specific activity, this Tuesday, September 14.

In all the provinces of Extremadura and Galicia, rainfall and storms of up to 15 litres in one hour have been reported.

Ávila, León, Palencia, Salamanca and Zamora are the provinces of Castile and Leon that present warnings for heavy rains and storms that will leave up to 15 liters in an hour, while all of Castilla La Mancha, except for Albacete, they continue in yellow level by precipitation of 15 liters in one hour.
