The latest official figures released by the Spanish Health Ministry were on Friday
The latest official figures released by the Spanish Health Ministry for the number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 were on Friday and are now at 439,286.
This is an overall increase of 9,779 against the figure released on Thursday, although the ministry says that 3,829 of those infections occurred in the previous 24 hours.
1,693 people required hospital treatment in the past week, with 129 in intensive care.
The number of Coronavirus-related deaths is now 29,011, an increase of 15 since Thursday’s figures with 129 in the previous 7 days.
