Young girl dies in Vigo after incident with parasol

A four-year-old girl died on Monday after being hit on the head by a parasol on a private estate in Bembrive, in the municipality of Vigo. The accident occurred about 17:45 hours on Monday. 112 Galicia was alerted to the situation in which the minor was injured.

The National and Local Police and the Health Police of Galicia-061 moved to the place of the event, but nothing could be done to save the life of the minor.

The event has been reported to the Psychological Intervention Group in Disasters and Emergencies (Gipce) so that the child’s family can have help in case they need it because it is a tragic and complicated situation that has suddenly taken the child’s life.
