An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 makes residents of Molina de Segura, Murcia tremble

Molina de Segura is the epicenter of an earthquake of 3.1 magnitude on the Richter scale. The neighbors were shocked by the earthquake, which occurred at 02:56 in the morning. At the moment, there is no record of any damage.

The earthquake occurred before three in the morning this Thursday at a depth of 12 kilometers, according to data from the National Geographic Institute (IGN).

It could be felt with intensity IV in areas of Alguazas, Molina de Segura, Lorquí, Archena, and Murcia capital, according to InfoMeteoTuit.

The neighbors woke up startled by the noise. Social media refers to it as an “explosion”. The tremor lasted only a few seconds. There is no evidence that this earthquake caused any harm.
