The Ministry of Health has confirmed this Thursday 34,213 new positive and 360 dead by coronavirus.
The cumulative incidence of the coronavirus in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants stands at 984.33 positive cases, that is, for the first time since the beginning of the low year of the 1,000 positive.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of infections in Spain has already risen to 10,778,607 and the death rate to 97,710 according to official health statistics.
Currently, there are 10,251 patients admitted by coronavirus in all of Spain and 1,351 in ICU. In the last 24 hours, there have been 907 admissions by Covid-19 and 1,557 discharges.
Several communities have decided to say goodbye to some restrictions to contain the coronavirus such as capacity limits in hospitality and leisure. The covid passport will also decline in many territories.
The Basque Country, Navarre, La Rioja and Galicia lift all restrictions and put an end to the health emergency in the community. Only the Region of Murcia will maintain after this week the limit of the capacity to contain the disease.
For its part, the Valencian Community will eliminate the covid certificate from next March 1.
The World Health Organization (WHO) believes that the coronavirus pandemic can end in 2022 if vaccination and diagnostic tests are extended to all countries, to prevent new variants from emerging.
