Jet2 has cancelled all flights to the Balearic Islands this summer.

And it has extended the suspension of package holidays and flights to mainland Spain and the Canaries until September 13.

Previously it had suspended resuming flights to the popular holiday destination until the end of August.

The tour operator said the decision was due to the “ongoing uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as UK government self-isolation advice.”
