A Spanish judge has sanctioned a new probe into the deaths of a British pastor and his two children in a Costa del Sol swimming pool.

Gabriel Diya’s widow has got the go-ahead for the ‘parallel investigation’ she called for after the Christmas Eve tragedy. 

Mr Diya, 52, his son Praise-Emmanuel, 16, and daughter Comfort, nine, drowned in the pool at the holiday resort in Fuengirola, Police say it was an accident but an engineer and a professional diver hired by Mrs Diya’s lawyer will now be allowed access to the Club La Costa World pool.
