Prepare for Toll Booth Demolition

todayJanuary 14, 2020 6

Work has begun to dismantle the toll booths on the road between Alicante and Tarragona after it became toll free at the start of the year.

Lane diversions have already begun to be laid out to enable workers to dismantle the pay stations on the AP-7 motorway.

The change in status of the road doesn’t mean it is now cost free though, as the money for maintenance and repair will be down to the tax payer with the work to change to toll free
already set to cost 21 million euros.
